Yesterday was a great day for us with all the team having their e-mail on and checking all the ideas received, answering last minute questions. At 18.00, when the applications closed we have counted 41 great idea entered in the competition. Persons with disabilities are not being perceived as useful for their community. We disagree, but it is known that some of them need support in cultivating their potential. Our project will offer the children with disabilities from a special school center in Bihor County the chance, to participate to different activities along with children from a normal school, to make them feel useful, aware of the environment and to educate them in the citizenship spirit.
Market Shirts Workshop – Cioarţă Ionuţ
Market Shirts Workshop is a project that has as target group children and young who living in a public or private homing institutions. The purpose of project is to reach 3 targets: involving beneficiaries in artistic activities (painting), social entrepreneurship (selling shirts) and social awareness in regards to the problems encountered by the children and youngsters that live in foster homes.
SPECTAcTOR – Bogdan Andrei Ilieşiu
SPECTAcTOR is an enterprise that delivers education based on a new concept, through film, theatre and debate for people in Romania. We choose a social problem, write a script around it, make a film and a play, and then discuss it within AGORA, a framework favorable for efficient debate. This new educational concept relies on entertainment and interactivity.
Money, that’s what I want – Sergiu Alexandru Vlasceanu
A website which facilitates funding for NGOs in Romania. NGOs post their detailed projects for which they need funding and the companies then choose the projects they would like to fund, but without any cost for them – just a few clicks. How come? In Romania, companies and employees can redirect a part of their taxes to NGOs with zero costs – this source of funding has great potential (about €300 million) and is not used enough.
Gifted Education Center – Paul Ardeleanu
Gifted Education Center is a project that aims to support children with high ability, in any field, to develop their talents and abilities to the maximum of their potential. This project is an answer to the social demand for an early childhood education of excellence. We believe in a differentiated education, based on the concept: nature and nurture – feeding the natural potential.
Time Out – Dulgheru Andrei
Developing an initiative in a rented space with 3 partitions, which will allow: opening a Coffee House for young people, baby sitting agency and mini-shop selling handcrafted objects by beneficiaries of educational and social care services. The staff in the Coffee house will be students from disadvantaged categories, trained to take on a job that would see them through university. All generated profit will be used for the support of high school students in accessing education.
Vreau sa fac sport – Valentin Iulian Toc, Andrei Leahu, Mircea Meriacri, Georgiana Anton, Alexandra Ciobanu
vreausafacsport.ro is an online platform with offline impact. Addresses anyone willing to learn and practice a sport, but come across some obstacles. By vreausafacsport anyone passionate about a sport can get in touch with other stakeholders, communicate, plan meetings, find in one place all the necessary information to make the sport including maps of public places (institutional or private) for any sport.
The unbounded coffee house – Puscas Emanuela
This coffee house is a place where people excluded from the social and work life can be part of the community and gain self-respect. It also reduces unemployment for vulnerable groups (persons with psychiatric stress related problems, under treatment and following a therapy program, and also students of rrom nationality who need jobs to put them through university) and increases the social conditions they live, also promoting levelness in chances to a normal life.
Edu Surfing – Trandafirescu Iulia Carmen
Educational program addressed to children aged between 7 – 14 years old which promotes tolerance and respect for worldwide cultures through direct contact between native young citizens from all over the world and Romanian children. The main goal is to enlarge children’s vision on the human and cultural diversity and prepare them to be open and flexible in a world where globalization is already a reality.
Rural Fashion – Tutu Maria
The project, “Rural Fashion” aims to return to the roots of traditional design and recreated in a modern manner with the help of young talented artist. Our project tries to solve a social phenomenon, common in rural areas: poverty and low income problem. We intend to create a fusion between two artisical views; in order to revive the traditional art of Romania, but more then this to offer the opportunity of employment for disadvantaged artisans.
Business Mentorship – Miu Adina
The social project „Business Mentorship” will bring in Romania a new concept of information and education for young people who are at the beginning of their careers. The project aims to help young people eager to assert in the Romanian business, but also those who want to gain knowledge in areas, such as: entrepreneurship, management, marketing and trade. The project addresses to young high school or college graduates, aged between 18-30 years.
Future AIR – Robert Kepes
A big plus for the environment and transportation in Brasov, Cluj and Timisoara- in other terms for Romania. I want to make people aware of the new technology available, familiarize them and then implement the project so that together we can make a difference and save the planet. Demnitate pentru mame – Cristina Ruxandra Grigore
We would like to initiate a social enterprise for women, as they are being affected by gender and status discrimination (the mothers), the beneficiaries being: single mothers and mothers which just finished their child care, women which do not have a job, from rural, Rromani, women exiting shelters of GDSCCP Cluj, grandparents who have low pensions, from rural, which have worked at the ex- CAP and GAS, livestock farms etc. and which, by having minor of student children, which do not have any source of money or they have only basic primary or secondary studies and are hardly accepted in a workplace. We want to restore the dignity of women in and by working. The main activity will be creating clothes, decorations, jewelry, greeting cards, origami etc., wood paintings, glass paintings, decorative flowers, floral decorations, hand made by using minimal sewing notions, followed by a specialization for more complex activities.
“Beyond the Line” Events School – Alin Vaida
“Beyond the Line” Events School is a program dedicated to students who want to learn the fine art of event production. The program lasts 3 months, in which young people from 18 to 25 years old get to work with real professionals, implementing real events, with real money, for real clients.
Educativo – Cristina Stan, Alexandra Negruţ, Adrian Rusu, Elena Gheorghe
“Educativo” is an educational project for kids, it involves educative stories with modern moral, available on simple audio CD and on multimedia CD. The purpose of the project is to change tomorrow adults, by teaching nowadays children positive and useful knowledge. The idea of Educativo is the realistic aspect of stories, which serve as an alternative, not a substitute to traditional stories and desires to help children to solve problems and understand the world by listening to audio stories, which can stimulate their imagination. Research has proved that “We so happily expose our children to these stories, but in some cases they can be scary and carry obscure and unusual messages.” So Educativo offers to kids stories that will help them in life and will have a positive impact on them later on, not make them dream to a perfect life and have depression later when meeting real problems. A psychologist specialized on children issues helped us in our project and offered references and advice in creation process. The multimedia CD is useful because it includes drawings of the stories and exercises of comprehension after listening, the best way to have a parent – child activity. The audio CD is perfect for the nighttime, when parents do not have time to read stories.

“Many for More” is an ambitious plan that we have thought about for many years. It has an opportunity to increase and make a difference for all Romanians who want to have a healthy life and get the chance to see their grandchildren grow up. Automatic condoms machines can and will improve life for many Romanians: teenagers, adults and elderly as well.
Youth Mentor Market – Răileanu Andra-Elena, Andrei Leahu, Mircea Meriacri, Georgiana Anton, Vasile Brasovanu
Youth Mentor Market aims to support the students who want to learn in a non-formal framework and to discover qualities and true passion. This will start to eliminate the student involvement in activities that would waste time and energy. This is a project specifically addressed to for teenagers. Through this project the pupils and students will be able to find people to learn from. This idea started because many students face the problem of choosing a college, some begin one after one, two or some even realize they do not like it and do not want to practice in that realm. Thay have lost time and resources and patience spent on something they have not believed in and did not like it. Students whom would be mentors to these students might guide them to discover their passions and dreams and therefore they will choose the appropriate faculty. Initially the project will take place in Moldova region, bringing together high-school youths who would like to know students from universities in Iasi, Suceava or Galati.

The project we propose seeks an improvement brought to education nowadays: young trainers from NGOs deliver soft skills trainings for gymnasium and high school children. On one hand, young trainers formed in international NGOs are willing to develop the others as well they are seeking for opportunities to practice and evolve. On the other hand, soft-skills are very low addressed at this level of education, thus it would be a great start in life for these young children!
One Tablet Per Family – Paul Raetchi, Mihaela Campion
OTPF is a project meant to aid the current educational system through an alternative learning method – via a digital tablet. OTPF is addressed to children, adults and seniors alike, offering a suite of educational applications – from shapes and colors, learning to read and arithmetic, to arts and crafts, astronomy and mechanics, time management and career orientation. The software will be delivered on cost-effective Android tablets.
Feed Another – Tocaci Anamaria Madalina, Cocuti Raluca Elena, Dusa Silvia Ionela
Feed Another is a social project that aims to bring together consumers and companies in an attempt to contribute to the community by providing poor people with food products. In order to connect the buyers and the producers, the project will implement an innovative online platform through which food can be collected and distributed to those in need. Thus, people and companies will have the opportunity to make a difference and provide food to others.
Bike Your City - Popa Ana-Maria, Stirb Alexandru Pavel, Popa Marius Bogdan
“Bike your city” promotes cycling as sport and as mean of transport. The project intents to create a community of people having a healthy way of living and tries to reduce of traffic pollution and to provide a solution for the lack of time dedicated to practicing sport. The project consist in developing an online platform, creating touristic maps for bike riding, setting up off-road bicycle paths and developing special parking lots for bikes.

Just because a child has autism, it does not mean that he/she can not have a quality of life or reach his full potential. He/ She needs to communicate, to interact with people, to learn and observe the world! Many people are just ignorant of autism, they want to do the right thing but they just don’t know how. Our program wants to help people to learn how to interact with an autistic child and how to understand and help him. Our program involves pupils, school-age children and also young adults (18-21 years).

TimeBank Romania – Click&Brick Social Entrepreneurship. Online and offline swap of knowledge, skills and time. The Click is an online platform meant to bring back joy into learning. Individuals can learn anything they want, exchanging knowledge and skills by using video-conferences or meeting offline and ‘paying’ with their own time instead of money. The Brick is an alternative learning place where we organize workshops, group lessons or one-on-one classes, depending on individuals preferred way of learning.

‘Smile, Future!” is a non-formal education project which aims to encourage personal development in children from child care institutions which provides them educational training and art-therapy sessions. This is achieved through sessions and extracurricular activities such as games and treasure hunts. The sessions are specifically designed for these children, by experts from child care institutions from Constanta. Non-formal education is the basis of this project so the teaching methods used are attractive and various.

Stor y/e represents an online bilingual platform that brings together: successful craft people stories, images and videos how products are made, selling products and global buyers. Is a virtual gate to an open-access community that, offers an interactive environment of knowledge-transfer, cultural preservation, promotion and economic support for the traditional Romanian craftsmen in order for visitors buy what they are interested in, learn how is made, have the product they prefer.

onforoff.ro is an online platform for Romanian individuals and legal entities, meant to financially sustain and empower creative ideas of projects that have as main goal social change in the following fields: education, culture, sports and environment. The platform founds and supports the community of people that get involved in social matters.

We want to create a club in which youngsters can choose what kind of leisure activities they want to do, to decide how much time to spend on an activity, and ensuring parents they are in a safe place, where they have the opportunity to develop intellectually, morally, physically, emotionally and socially. Our main purpose is to enable the all-round development of the youngster and avoid wasting their leisure time, using free time activities that they love.

Romania`s main issue is the lack of information for secondary and high school students about the opportunities offered by each field (economy, industry, services etc.) and students do not choose their high school and faculty according to the inclinations, skills and vocation they have. The project comes with a solution, namely the development and implementation of an evaluation, testing and counseling system for students and for all the groups involved in their growth and development.
Blind Man Symphony – Sava Stefan, Popovici Adrian, Irina Mihaela Tataranu
The aim of the project is to turn into reality the dream of Visually Impaired People (VIP): to be able to go wherever and whenever they want without any assistance. This is done by a device that allows the subject to “see” through harmonic sounds, an interactive map for VIP to navigate in the city and an online platform that encourages a world wide distribution for this solution.

Our project aims at creating an innovative source of income for rural communities by reviving the old tradition of “sezatoare” (rural community gathering with both a lucrative and entertaining purpose). We will link villagers’ need of extra revenue sources with the preservation of authentic rural traditions and the growing public interest in reconnecting with the simple rural lifestyle. This will be achieved by organizing “sezatori” in traditional rural communities, attended, with payment, by people living in neighboring large cities.

Online store www.edujoc.eu will provide educational toys in Romanian for children from Republic of Moldova, where is a great demand of Romanian educational products, because the diversity of educational toys on the market is only in Russian. Besides most seeking toys, we offer a wide range of resources that promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children of all ages. A half part of the profit will be used for buying educational toys for children with disabilities and those in orphanages. Also we want to organize educational meetings for children, where they can compete and share knowledge.

Our project was conceived to raise awareness on environmental issues in community and offering job opportunities to people from disadvantage backgrounds. In order to reduce waste we convert waste materials into new useful products of high quality. Through our products we want to give the consumers a setting to make responsible choices regarding their shopping habits and their effects on the environment. In this way, we want to bring a positive impact in our community.

The goal of this project is to create an online platform for people that want to do volunteering work in the communities. Why? Because we believe that through volunteering people can develop them and help their community or country. How? By having a constant update platform where you can find: NGO’s, festivals, concerts and events. Also by providing online education trough articles and webinars about volunteering to volunteers and people who work with them.
Pentru copii: sprijin – Mihaela Chereji
The project consists in the founding of a program for preschoolers and young pupils designed to develop a rational way of thinking through stories, to foster critical thinking and to discover useful things through games and foreign languages. These three elements offer: support for a state of mental health, opportunity to discover one’s potential and openness towards diversity. The target group comprises children from Romanian disadvantaged families lacking information and access to cognitive stimulation.
Reconstruction for Piece-full Life – Irina Tataranu, Stefan Sava, Elena Marcu
The challenge of the project “Reconstruction for piece-full life” is to create a platform for emergency situations. The natural disaster is a very actual subject and problem, we have to respond in a very short time. So, if we are prepared for earthquakes – the situation we are studying – we can also prepare for other situations. Our solution responds also to other types of natural disaster, but these are less disastrous than earthquakes because they can be predicted: floods, snow, fire.
City Register – Andrei Rigu
Catalogul Orașului is an online platform where citizens can rate all the infrastructure elements of their street, neighbourhood, district and city. They can rate private buildings, public places, pedestrian, bicycle and car infrastructure, public transport, public services and other. Catalogul Orașului involves the community, gives power to its voice and uses its feedback to create a general rating of the city, proving a critical instrument for its future development and for the authorities – citizens dialogue.

Our goal was to create an attractive opportunity for high school students, university students and graduates to be part of a group interested in developing and practicing their leadership skills – giving them a chance to learn more about leadership, develop their communication skills, invest in their spiritual side, build a community that would eventually lead to the start of a movement.

Conceived as an NGO, BRIDGE is an organization that was born from the philosophy that every student should be ready for business challenges upon graduation, and not be labeled as insufficiently prepared due to lack of practical experience. The mechanism is pretty simple. It tries to improve the evaluation system of higher education by merging school assignments with actual company projects which benefit all three stakeholders involved: universities, students and companies.

Café INSIEME is thought out as a coffee house having the purpose of socially integrating underprivileged youngsters coming from deprived families and backgrounds or social organizations. Our aim is to offer them temporary employment, job coaching (courses, career counseling and orientation) and to act as an intermediary between them and desired employers (partnerships with companies and small businesses). Café INSIEME is a social business that seeks to cover its costs with the profit we obtain.
“Social” magazine – Morosanu Bogdan Andrei
A magazine with a deep social impact, containing economic, political and informations of general interest to clients between age 18 and 55 years old, sold by street people or by people with poor financial situations or persons who are in desperate situations. This project is set up to address the problem of homelessness by offering homeless people the opportunity to earn a legitimate income; to ‘help them to help themselves’.
