The Social Impact Award 2012 is officially launched in Austria!

On the 11th of January 2012 the kick off event of the call 2012 in Austria took place in the HUB Vienna. This event forms the start of the workshop series in Austria, which was also launched that evening with a workshop on Inspiration.

The Social Impact Award, its partners, jury members and interested guests celebrated the start of the award. Chaska Armbruster (country coordinator, Social Impact Award Austria) guided through the evening during which the 60 guests got to know the concept of the Social Impact Award and the news on the Social Impact Award as an international project being launched also in Romania and the Czech Republic.

The following workshop inspired participants by giving examples of young social entrepreneurs, their initiatives, their motivations and challenges they have been facing. It was a pleasure to have a lot of virbrant conversations with our invited guest: Ali Mahlodji (whatchado), Hannah Lux (Footprint), Andreas Dekrout (Game Changing), Cezar Neaga (SchreberMeister) and Jakob Detering (venim la voi).

The Social Impact Award wants to thank all guests and speakers and wishes the young social entrepreneurs all the best for their further development!
